Fury UK, Odins Rock Club, Ebbw Vale, 25/05/12

Ebbw Vale may not be Seattle (I bet you've never read a review with that as the opening line), but the popping up of a series of rock clubs in the area is seeing the old town attract some of the best up and coming acts on the UK hard and heavy rock scene.

Fury UK are one such act who returned to the former steel town at the Odin's Club in Garnlydan, having previously played the Steelhouse in May 2011.

Ably supported by Chaos Theory and doom metal types Doom Child, Fury UK riffed their way through an hour and a half set centred around their 'VR' and 'A Way of Life' albums.

Here's "The Remainder" on you tube.

They really are a powerful power trio, and deserve to play on a much bigger stage.

Fury UK

Chris Appleton, the main man, on lead guitar and vocals

Martin McNee on drums

Luke Appleton on bass, now joining Iced Earth

Fury UK will be taking a break for the rest of 2012
