Glamorgan v Surrey Days 2 and 3, 30th and 31st May 2010

Some good sunshine and cricket to match at Cardiff over the Bank Holiday weekend.
.
Mark Cosgrove and Gareth Rees shared an excellent opening stand on Day 2. Mark Ramprakash was sublime on Day 3, and James Harris continues to impress.

Michael Schenker Group, Millenium Music Hall, Cardiff 270510

I'm not sure if wonderful German guitar hero Michael Schenker has too many Welsh connections, but it was great to see him and the MSG back in South Wales for the 2nd time in 12 months. And yet again we weren't disappointed with a stunning display of great songs and wonderful axe work.
.
Happily reunited with Gary Barden and Chris Glen, the new, more sober Schenker is a class act once again, and delighted the 500 strong crowd with a super mix of classics, a few off 'In The Midst Of Beauty" and of course several UFO staples.

MSG and Surrey

Sorry the blog's been a bit quiet lately. No rugby, no gigs since UFO and little weekend cricket.
.
That said, it's MSG this Thursday in Cardiff and a full weekend of cricket in Cardiff with Glamorgan playing Surrey in the Championship.
.
Plenty of pics and clips to follow!!
