There was barely a spot in the day when you couldn't find something to your rock taste.

Voodoo Johnson
.
Remedy
.
Next up were the female fronted Remedy with their good, simple, melodic rock. The singer had a good voice I thought.

9 x Dead
.
Next up were the much trailed 9xDead from Caerphilly. Not really my cup of tea (or pint of beer), but they were entertaining enough.

.
Dead Against The Rest
.
A fast paced 'glammy' set from more Welsh rockers. Possibly a little samey, but the 'get well' message to Ronnie James Dio via a cover of 'Holy Diver' went down well.

.
Logan
.
Over to the main stage for the evening, opening up with Glasgow boys Logan, and what a great sound the twin guitar band made. It included a cover of 'War Pigs', which the singer didn't seem to get.

.Gun
.
.
Ratt
.
My personal favourite of Day 1, and it was great to see them after all these years. With Warren DeMartini back in partnership with Stephen Pearcy, they cranked out the 1980s classics: Lay It Down, Round and Round, You're In Love (you tube).

.
Terrovision
.
With the alcohol now well and truly kicking in, Terrovision gave us a blast of tequila.
.
Monster Magnet
.
Friday's headliners came and went for me - sorry just not one of my bands.
.
Edens Curse
.
Last band for me before bedtime - I can't really remember much.
