A win at last for Ebbw Vale, after a difficult winter where the club had not won since September.
With Greg Woods having been relieved of coaching duties, hopes were high that returning Steelman Jason Strange could bring back the winning habit, and so it proved.
On a cool February Friday evening, the home pack quickly got on top, and ran up a 17-0 lead, including a brace of tries from Alex Grey and some fine goal kicking from Rhys Jones. Llanelli pulled back a try to go in 17-5 at half time.
