Following visits in 2010 and 2013, we made a return to the fabulous Thomson Gold Hotel Falesia in the Algarve, and we were not disappointed.

Oh well, that's summer holidays done for another year, a rather splendid two weeks at the Thomson Gold Hotel Falesia in the Algarve, Portugal.

Summer Hols

Just had a great two weeks at the Falesia Hotel (Thomson Gold) on the Algarve. Great hotel, superb weather, loads of fun.

Rock in the Algarve

We did it make down to Albufeira a couple of evenings, and of course, managed to find some rock.

The Stone Covers Band did a great set covering all the decades with a lot of emphasis on the 90s material of Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam etc. but good nonetheless.

Here they are doing The Killers 'Human', and of course, the obligatory 'Smoke On The Water'.
