Glamorgan had the better of the first day of the Championship versus Glamorgan at Sophia Gardens.
In glorious sunshine the home captain Sam Northeast decided to bowl first and, following a solid start from the visitors, the decision looked justified when they were dismissed for 278 with 4 wickets each for Mir Hamza and James Harris.
At the close, the home side were 21/1.
Some good cricket from Glamorgan on days 2 and 3, including centuries from Kiran Carlson and Colin Ingram and dismissing Sussex for 188 second time around, ensured a solid 9 wicket win for the Welsh county.
