A dreadful first innings batting display on day 1 cost Glamorgan dearly as they went down to defeat in less than 3 days to Kent at Sophia Gardens.
With the visitors unsurprisingly bowling first without a toss, the Welshmen collapsed from 57 for 1 to 94 all out, with evergreen Darren Stevens claiming 6 for 26.
Kent fared marginally better on their turn, gaining a valuable lead of 80 tuns with 174 all out, Timm van der Gugten superb with 7 for 42.
Shaun Marsh led the Glamorgan fightback with 76 in their second innings of 274, before being run out.
A target of 195 on a sunny day was never going to trouble the visitors as they cruised home by 6 wickets helped by 69 runs from Heino Kuhn, thus ensuring an earlier than planned return up the M4.
