In all honesty, the day-night, pink ball experiment in county cricket was a rather underwhelming affair played out in ordinary weather and in front of poor crowds.
The idea was that people would come in to watch after work, but quite frankly more people were leaving at the 6.40 tea break than coming into the ground.
In the match itself, Derbyshire ran out winners by 39 runs after Glamorgan limply collapsed to 172 chasing 212 with sixteen year old off-spinner Hamidullah Qadri taking 5-60.
