Gloucestershire v Glamorgan, Day 2, Cheltenham, 310710

The highlight of Day 2 of Glamorgan's Championship match with Gloucestershire was a superb and disciplined 123 from Mark Cosgrove, who seemed genuinely gutted to have failed to go on to an even bigger score. Nonetheless, it was the platform from which Glamorgan were to build a healthy 2nd innings total.

Glamorgan v Leicestershire, Day 4, Swansea, 240710

After an exciting Day 3, the final day of Glamorgan's Championship match at St Helens failed to live up to expectations as Leicestershire ground out a draw by batting through the final day at a painful 2 runs an over.

Glamorgan v Leicestershire, Day 3, 230710, Swansea

Day 3 at Swansea saw Glamorgan gain a lead of 43 on 1st innings largely due to an outstanding 114 from Mark Cosgrove, who, quite frankly, was head and shoulders above any other batsman in the match.

Summer Hols

Just had a great two weeks at the Falesia Hotel (Thomson Gold) on the Algarve. Great hotel, superb weather, loads of fun.

We did it make down to Albufeira a couple of evenings, and of course, managed to find some rock.

The Stone Covers Band did a great set covering all the decades with a lot of emphasis on the 90s material of Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam etc. but good nonetheless.

Ebbw Vale Fixtures: Division One East 2010/11

Whilst it doesn't make the most comfortable reading for supporters used to welcoming the likes of Neath, Newport, Cardiff and Llanelli, life goes on for the Steelmen.
.
Much of that is due to the diligent efforts of a small band of workers, fundraisers, sponsors etc. Head Coach Neil Edwards is putting a good squad together for Division One East, and the club will be doing all it can to go back up to the Premier Division at the first attempt.

Our fixtures are here.
